On Friday, February 23rd, Yeshiva Ketana’s First and Second Grade Girl’s classes had an inspirational visit with the residents of the Fountainview Retirement Community. The Purim trip was the Yeshiva’s 3rd Ohren visit of the 2017-18 academic year and a meaningful addition to our ongoing partnership with the Steven Ohren Foundation.
Accompanied by Morah Shaina Davidowitz & Morah Miriam Weiner, the girls brought their bright smiles and contagious energy as they spread Purim cheer to the residents. They came prepared with Purim songs, lively dancing and delicious hamentashen to share with the residents. Rabbi Rubenstein spoke to the residents about the meaning behind Purim and the beautiful mitzvos of this special day.
It was beautiful to see the girls interact so naturally and effortlessly with the Fountainview residents. We look forward to visiting with them again soon!
